Making Snow Angels

Jasmine and Chris have been having fun in the unexpected and long-lasting Seattle Snow! There is always a temptation when it snows to make snow angels…isn’t there? The biggest temptation is to do something really unexpected like making snow angels after being in the hot tub and getting really warm…that way you can jump back in and get warm quickly….you’ve all done that right? Well, if you haven’t done this yet, you can live vicariously through the experience of Jasmine and Chris…here is a photo of them a few days ago when the snow first started. They were caught in a classic photo moment as they were getting up off the deck after making snow angels in the snow with their bathing suits. A pretty good set of snow angels were made. Yes, there was a hot tub, of course!!!!

Soon the Excitement begins

In January 2009 Jasmine and Chris will be traveling across Europe. Late November, I began to think of ways that might be fun to keep the communication going while they are gone. This blog is established by Jasmine's mother, (that's me, Maria) to share the excitement and adventure of their experiences. Friends and family will be able to post comments and ask questions. Myself, Jasmine and Chris will be able to upload their photos and make postings.

Having recently graduated from Seattle University both Jasmine and Chris have decided to do some traveling before settling down and beginning their fulltime careers. Gaining worldly knowledge about people and cultures in other places will surely help them as well as the readers become more educated about our similarites and differences...in addition, I for one can't wait to hear the stories that will surely follow.
